Laterally rotate and extends clients arm.
Client takes a deep breath and holds. |

Client hyperextends and contrilaterally rotates head.
Place client’s arm into lateral rotation and extension.
Palpate client’s radial pulse and apply a downwards arm traction. |

Client abducts arm (to 90 degrees) and laterally rotates arm.

Passively elevate the shoulder girdle superiorly and anteriorly.
